Download and install it today and see what it can do for you!In this section, we will show you how to create a simple PLS-SEM model using SmartPLS 3. A PLS-SEM model consists of two parts: the measurement model and the structural model. The measurement model specifies how the observed variables (also called indicators) reflect the latent variables (also called constructs). The structural model specifies how the latent variables are related to each other.
To illustrate the process, we will use a hypothetical example of a customer satisfaction survey. The survey measures four latent variables: service quality, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and word-of-mouth. Each latent variable has three observed variables that measure it. For example, service quality is measured by three questions: reliability, responsiveness, and assurance. The survey data is stored in an Excel file with 100 rows (one for each respondent) and 12 columns (one for each observed variable).
Here are the steps to create a PLS-SEM model using SmartPLS 3:
Open SmartPLS 3 and click on File > New Project.
Enter a name for your project and click on OK.
